Young People Affected by Huntington Disease (YPAHD) Day is a one-day conference designed specifically for youth affected by HD. Youth from across the country gather regionally to learn about genetic testing, family planning, caring for someone with HD, navigating relationships, think about event planning during the round table discussions and more! YPAHD Day is educational, fun and interactive. It helps forge new friendships and strengthen those support systems that mean everything to YPAHD members.

It was critical that the creative direction for this conference resonated with a younger audience. So for the design approach, I really leaned into a retro 90s style to give their target demographic a nostalgic connection. Bold typography, a pastel colour palette, outlined shapes and the simple sticker icons all played a role in this retro revival.
