Streets of Vancity is a community of talented local British Columbia creatives with a social following nearing 30,000 people. They host workshops and contests for their 900+ creatives through their Discord server. As they continue to grow into merch, meet-ups and brand partnerships, they approached me to help them elevate their brand identity.
Through our brand strategy session, we agreed on a monogrammed approach for their primary logo based on its versatility and effectiveness. The colour palette is mainly black and white to keep the focus on the fantastic photography that surrounds their brand. While a vibrant blue colour is used in digital mediums to highlight key elements. The interwoven letters symbolize unity and collaboration while the circular type conveys a sense of community.
